Protesting Israel

None of you protesting against Israel have ever walked in their shoes. I spent about 9 months total in Israel working with their military. At least once a week, a bomb would go off. The events of 10/7 made the news, but the incidents of the previous bombs didn’t. If Israel doesn’t shut down Hamas, it won’t change. I am not saying wipe out the civilians, but unless you have been there to see it, you will not completely understand. For example, most of the conscripts there ride the public busses home. They ride WITH THEIR WEAPONS! There is a reason for that. When Israel first put the wall up, I asked my Israeli colleagues if they realized that the world was comparing it to the Berlin Wall. Their answer: we don’t care because the incidence of suicide bombers dropped by 90%. The people of Israel believe that all their neighbors are out to get them. I have seen and believe that they have just cause for some of that feeling. The civilians in the war zone are a common commentary, but what about the hostages that are still missing? Does Israel not have a right to rescue them? As of 3 May 2024, 124 hostages are still in Hamas hands. My hearts bleeds for ALL of the victims, but the first aggressor was Hamas. As for the inflated numbers that UN is reporting killed in the Gaza Strip, they are coming from the same source that said Israel blew up a hospital.
